History: The nursery was started by Chuck Meyers while attending Delaware Valley College. In 1963, Chuck received a BS in Ornamental Horticulture and began the landscape design and construction sector of the company. He continued his education and received a MS in Landscape Architecture and a MS in Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. Donald Korbobo joined the nursery in the late 1960's while he was attending Rutgers University working for a degree in forestry. Don left the nursery for several years while attending Yale University specializing in forest genetics. He returned to the nursery after completing most of the work for a Phd and has been the manager ever since. In January 2009, Karen Meyers began publishing "Karens garden tips." This is a web magazine containing practical tips to help you get the most out of your garden. Today Nybrook "Plants with Character" can be found growing throughout the east coast and as far west as Chicago. | |
